Charles R. Hillman, Sr, of Tega Cay, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at home on May 7, 2024 at the age of 90.  He was born on May 23, 1933 to his parents Thaddieus Hillman and Elizabeth Graham in Roanoke, VA.  He graduated in 1951 from Jefferson High School where he met the love of his life, Shirley Field, and promptly married after graduation. He worked as a nationally recognized salesman with Sears Robuck for 36 years where he built valuable and lasting relationships....

Ralph “Scooter” Wilson Houser, Jr., 69, passed away on May 6, 2024. He was born December 27, 1954 in Charleston, SC to Billie Ruth Houser and Ralph Wilson Houser, Sr. He is survived by his sister, Jennie Ruth Houser (Susan Shaffer) of Fort Mill, SC. Ralph worked for Kmart after graduating from the College of Charleston. He also was a licensed appraiser and enjoyed doing appraisal work on a part-time basis. The family will have a private graveside service at a date to be determined.

Lillie Beck Bishop, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and citizen of The Catawba Indian Nation, passed away on May 5, 2024, at her home. Born on December 5, 1941, in Rock Hill, SC, she was a devoted homemaker and loving mother.
