Condolence From: Renee Cook
Condolence: Mr. Meena was my music, choir, and band teacher at Kaier school in Melvindale, Mi. He toaught me a true appreciation of music that I will forever be thankful for. I was his soloist, and I absolutely adored him! I'm saddened about his passing but know that he is with his saviour and is happy, and whole. Miss Cecelia, Im so sorry. I remember you as well and your beautiful voice. God bless you and your family. I'm praying for all of you. And Mr. Meena,God rest your beautiful soul.

Condolence: I always was very pleased playing golf with Jim Meena, (The Reverend) at the Key Royale Golf Club on Anna Maria Island. I did not want to say any bad words when a shot was missed. I had the utmost respect for a wonderful and decent, down to earth individual. We both experienced a good buddy, real close relationship. I know he felt the same for me. He will be missed by all who really knew him.
Our sincere condolences to Cecelia and the family.

Condolence: My wonderful Uncle Jim was one of a kind. He could light up the room like nobody else and, once you met him, you would never forget him. Known to us as "Sis and Jim", Aunt Cecelia and Uncle Jim were always the much-anticipated life of the party and their visits to the old family farm in Pennsylvania were always eagerly awaited by entire family. Famous for his bargaining powers, Uncle Jim always drove a fairly new big sedan, always made in Detroit, and no doubt bargained to within an inch of the car dealer's life. Our sons Kyle and Derek were in awe of Sis and Jim during Florida visits and talk about them frequently to this day. Master musician and phenomenal trumpet player, minister, educator, loving husband, father, grandfather and ambassador of all things good in life; God Bless You Uncle Jim.

Condolence: Cecelia and family, Jim's mortal self may have left this earth for a better place with our Lord though he will never leave our hearts and memories. He was such a dear soul and we will miss him around Laurel Oak Park.
One of my memories of him is that I was receiving an infusion at Blake Hospital, just sitting there watching a medicine drip, drip, drip. Reverend Jim just happened to walk by; did a double take at seeing me there and sat down to chat. It was a lovely break and I was so appreciative.
My other very strong memory is that when I told him about our work at a local high-school and that we were providing lunch for the students, he brought me a trunk-load of bread to make their sandwiches. What a kind and loving soul!
Love from Marianne and John Moyer

Condolence: Life is fragile and so precious especially when we lose a loved one in death. May your family draw comfort in knowing that those sleeping in death are not suffering. The Bible’s wonderful hope found at Isaiah 25:8 tell us “He will swallow up death forever, and the sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” May this promise strengthen and comfort you during this time.
