Condolences

Condolence From: Kaye Mills
Condolence: All your Mills Home family will miss you Becky. We were rommates your Senior year and my Junior year at Mills Home. We had kitchen duty together like what seemed forever in those days. I remember you taking charge and frying up about 16 eggs for our fellow housemates that lived in our cottage at Mills Home, while I handled the toast😊. You had a beautiful voice and I was so proud of you when you stepped up to the mike to sing your solo. I regret that I was not more like you...sunny and positive, never holding back. You are the epitome of the saying " Dance like nobody's watching"....I love you Becky! See you in heaven.

Condolence From: Colleen Kearns
Condolence: My deepest condolences to the biological family of this beautiful person. Becky, we will forever miss you, but will always be grateful that you are no longer suffering. You went home in the same time frame as Pastor Lambert....somehow to me, that is very befitting. I will never forget your friendship, your beauty and laughter, and that beautiful singing voice of your's....the God given talent with which you blessed all who heard you sing. I can just hear you in heaven, singing to God ....the wonderful song, "My God and I" or "The King and I", can't remember at this moment. I just know when I heard your solo, it blessed me and filled my heart with God's spirit, and gave me chills, all at the same time. I know you are enjoying the wonderment of heaven and you have to know how broken-hearted we are all that you are gone, but we can rejoice in your happiness, knowing that you have lots of MH family there and we'll all be there, sooner than we think....or I feel this way anyway. Much love to our wonderful Mills Home sister and her biological family. God has called her home. Love you. Colleen (Hicks) Kearns

Condolence From: Susan Wood
Condolence: May God wrap his loving and around this family and give you comfort. Becky was like a sister to me. We met at The Baptist Childrens Home of NC" Mills Home. As adults we met back up at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte NC. We would meet again at all the functions of Mills Home be it Home cuming and in later years we would ride together and roomed together. She also was a big inspiration to me with voice i would stand by her during choir practice and admired her voice and if course I tried to mimic hers but I don't think I coukd. I will miss my friend and sister however I know she has gone before me to save me a spot in the heavenly choir. I love you my friend.
